Rebecca Hirakami has taught at Kalihi Kai Elementary for 13 years. She enjoys working with the families in the community. She received BAs in French and English, a Professional Diploma in Elementary Education, and a Masters in Educational Psychology. She enjoys writing children’s and suspense stories, training/playing with her dogs, going to the movies, surfing the web and spending time with her nephew.
We must stand in unity to uplift and move forward the educational achievement of our Filipino American students.
