Tessaley Antone is graduate of University of Hawai‘i, certified in Elementary Education. This is her 13th year as a teacher and has served all 13 years at Kalihi-Kai Elementary in the Farrington Complex. Since working at Kalihi-Kai she has served in a variety of roles ranging from regular education classroom teacher, facilitator (curriculum coordinator), and mentor teacher. As a facilitator, her primary role was working with grade level teams to develop, implement and assess standards-based curriculum, as well as, planning and facilitating faculty professional development. Currently as teacher mentor, her responsibilities include mentoring all second and third grade teachers individually and planning and facilitating faculty professional development.
